The Wounded

The Wounded is the project of Joshua Nathan — a raw blend of indie, folk and grunge stripped down to acoustic bones, born in Orlando, Florida.

The songs start small. A voice and a line that refuses to leave. From there they get built out with Nick Amos on instruments and backing vocals, keeping the arrangement honest — enough weight to make the quiet parts land, never enough to bury the words.

What comes out is music that sits somewhere between a front-porch folk song and a back-room grunge tape.

The name says where it comes from. Everyone is carrying something, and most of us have learned to hide it. These songs don't. They're about the part of being a person you don't post — the doubt, the temper, the bad habit you keep going back to, and the stubborn decision to get up anyway.

That's what Only Human collects: sixteen songs written by Joshua Nathan, released in 2026, each one a different angle on the same idea — that being wounded isn't a flaw, it's the price of paying attention. Every lyric lives on the Music page, so you can read along while you listen.
